This smoothie has 51 grams of protein. It is so tasty. AND it is easy to make. It’s also low calorie, low carb, and low sugar. Most of the components you need to have a healthy smoothie that tastes great. Now. I gotta warn you, I am not the recipe sharer between the 3 blogs. I leave that awesome-ness to Tina over at The Gluten-Free Foodsmith, most of the time. But I whipped this yummy smoothie up the other day and just knew I had to share with you. I was trying for a healthy drink that is loaded with protein – just about all you need – for those of us after WLS, who need to be sure we are getting our protein in! But anyone who is trying to be healthy may choose this easy-to-make protein smoothie to enjoy, as well.

Cook Time: 2 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 2-4 Servings

Serving Size: 8 OZ

Calories per serving: 445 calories or about 100 calories per serving

Fat per serving: 13.5 grams total or about 3.5 grams per serving

Get Your Protein with this Tasty Smoothie – easy to make!

This protein smoothie is so easy to make and guarantees to give you up to 80% of the protein you need for the whole day! Switch it up with different Atkins shake flavors, protein powder, and yogurt bar for a completely different taste! Want more fiber? Try sprinkling flaxseed into the mix and then blend it all up! YUM!

Ingredients

  • 1 Atkins Strawberry Shake
  • 2 TBSP. low-fat Vanilla Yogurt
  • 2 Outshine Strawberry Yogurt Bar
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Ice Cubes (added for thickness, will also add to your total yield)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Place all into blender.
  3. Blend to desired consistency.
  4. The number of ice cubes used is up to you, the more you add, the thicker your protein smoothie will be
  5. Measure out your portion (this smoothie recipe makes 2-4 servings)
  6. Enjoy!
